EU Compliance Services Inc. Electrical Safety test laboratory is fully equipped to test and evaluate your product to European and international requirements. Electrical safety test standards not only require the normal hi-pot, ground bond and earth leakage tests but also full assessment of operation manuals along with equipment labeling. The in depth process is undertaken by knowledgeable, experienced test engineers either at EU Compliance Services laboratory in Mentor Ohio or at your site.
Electrical Safety testing and certification is separated into two distinct areas;
1. Laboratory testing at Mentor laboratory – Normally involves smaller products, typically being assessed in accordance with EN60950 (IT products), EN61010 (Measurement, control and laboratory instruments), EN60439 and similar standards.
2. On Site testing at clients location – Larger products which are difficult to relocate to Mentor laboratory. Typically being assessed to EN61010, EN60439 (Switchgear and control gear assemblies), EN60204 (Safety of machinery) and similar standards.
The assessment process can include design review before assessment as part of a pre test or consultancy package. Engineers are focused on assisting the client to resolve any non-compliance identified during the assessment quickly and efficiently. At the completion of all testing and document review full test reports are available, which include all documentation (photos, design reviews, supporting component certificates etc.). Full Technical Files can also be prepared if required by the client.
