EU Directive Updates
2016 has seen the introduction of a number of recast European Directives in support of the New Legislative Framework which lays the foundation for the CE marking approach to conformity.

The following Directives have been updated:

Low Voltage Directive
EMC Directive
Pressure Equipment Directive
Simple Pressure Vessels Directive
R&TTE Directive
ATEX Directive

This change will require manufacturers to update their Declarations of Conformity, even for products that were released prior to the change if those products are still being placed on the market in the EU.  Withdrawn directives are not permitted to appear on DoCs.
